So this week's works seem to be more paper-centric than fabric, but it's been a while since I've done a WIP Wed post. Also, I have an ulterior motive.
But first: my big WIP this past weekend (still in progress, I might add)
I did, however, manage to work on some bee blocks and that ever-changing Design Camp 2 improv quilt I've written about recently here and here.
But my big "accomplishment" this week is actually for a quilt that I finished last year, but is about to get a new life.
The spring 2013 issue of Simple Quilts & Sewing, put out by Quilt magazine is now for sale. And I am thrilled and honored not only to have a project included (my first ever in a mass-produced publication), but to have THE COVER! I wrote a bit more about it in my previous post here (which includes a giveaway, nudge nudge), but am definitely still in the "wanting to shout from the rooftops" stage. Now I just have to find a place in town that sells this magazine! After work yesterday I drove around, stopping at 6 different venues, to no avail. I'll try again in a couple of days, I suppose.
So, I don't think the standard tally applies, but I feel as though I am right on the cusp of several finishes and enjoying every step (well, except the tax stuff...)!
